ROMANIA BIRD FLU


A Romanian health worker handles a goose before killing it in Marsilieni, Romania, 130 kilometres east of Bucharest, 20 December 2005, after bird flu related bird deaths occured in the village. Most bird flu cases in Romania have occured in the Danube Delta area, located on a major migration path of wild birds, but precautionary measures are now being taken near the capital.
