ROMANIA-BIRD-FLU


Romanian health workers hold domestic turkeys before killing them in Marsilieni, 130 kilometers east of Bucharest, 20 December 2005, after a bird flu related bird deaths occurred in the village. Most bird flu cases in Romania have spread in the Danube Delta area, located on a major migration path of wild birds, but precautionary measures are now being taken near the capital.
