GERMANY-US-AUTO-COMPANY-RESULTS-DAIMLERCHRYSLER
An employee of German-US auto giant DaimlerChrysler works on the assembling of a Mercedes-Benz E-class car at the company-s plant in Sindelfingen, 09 February 2005. DaimlerChrysler reported during its annual press conference on 10 February 2005 that its earnings fell short of expectations as troubles at the group-s luxury Mercedes-Benz brand and widening losses at its Smart division put the brakes on the group as a whole.
