FRANCE-GOVERNMENT-RELIGION-ANTISEMITISME-DE VILLEPIN
Grand Rabbi of France Joseph Sitruk (C) makes a declaration to the press, accompanied by Grand Rabbi of Paris David Messas (L-2d row) and President of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF) Roger Cukierman (R-2d row) 10 February 2005, following a meeting with French Interiror Minister Dominique de Villepin. De Villepin said that every anti-semitic act should be "the object of an arrest and a punishment" and announced "propositions" for the dismantling of "the networks, the groups which incite hatred."
