US-IRAQ-TROOPS-RETURN
Sargent Heather Furry of the Illinois National Guard-s 1544th Transportation Company is greeted by family and friends as she marches with her unit to a welcome home ceremony 22 February, 2005 in Paris, Illinois. The unit returned after serving nearly a year in Iraq where five of the unit-s soldiers were killed and about three dozen injured. Hundreds of people filled the flag-draped town square to help welcome the soldiers back.
