CORRECTION-US-ART-MODIGIANI
This handout photo received 24 February 2005, shows a 1919 painting entitled Jeanne Hebuterne, Oil on canvas 36 x 28 3/4 inches (91.4 x 73 cm) by Amedeo Modigliani. About 100 works by the Italian artist Modigliani will be the focus of a comprehensive exhibition at the Phillips Gallery in Washington, DC 26 February through 29 May 2005. The exhibit will include singular portaiture and sensual nudes in ochre hues but also sculptures, rare landscapes and religious-themed sketches.
