IRAQ-FRANCE-HOSTAGE
Iraqis watch the television as a released video of French hostage Florence Aubenas is shown on a satellite channel 01 March 2005 in Baghdad. Aubenas made a desperate plea for her life on a video broadcast today, confirming suspicions that she was being held hostage. Aubenas and her Iraqi translator Hussein Hanun al-Saadi disappeared after leaving their Baghdad hotel on January 5. There had been no indication of their fate until the video. AFP PHOTO/ALI AL-SAADI
