FRANCE-CHILDSEX-JUSTICE
Pascal Rouiller (R) and Patrick Descamps (L), two of the lawyers of the 66 men and women accused of raping children "sold" by their parents for pitiful sums of money and cigarettes, answer reporters- questions at Angers courthouse, western France, 04 March 2005. The case, one of France-s biggest-ever criminal trials - which started 03 Mar, is expected to last four months and is being heard in a specially constructed wooden hall in the law courts built to accommodate the 60 lawyers, many of the 45 victims, and the accused, who face sentences ranging up to life imprisonment if convicted.
