ARGENTINA-TRAIN-ACCIDENT
A policeman inspects one of the two trains that collided in Buenos Aires, 10 March 2005. At least 129 people were injured Thursday when two trains collided on a Buenos Aires bridge, according to city health officials. No one was seriously injured. Buenos Aires health chief German Fernandez said 65 people were hospitalized, all for light injuries. The accident took place on a seven-meter high bridge when one train inexplicably halted shortly after its departure and was struck in the rear by a second train, said Gustavo Gago, spokeman for Trenes de Buenos Aires, which runs the railway.
