MIDEAST-ISRAEL-HOLOCAUST MUSEUM
Rabbi Asher Einowich, a cantor, composes himself to the side of the Hall of Names in the new Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum in Jerusalem after singing an emotional prayer 16 March 2005 for the dead, completing a ceremony honoring the six-million Jews who perished at the hands of the Nazis during the Holocaust of World War II. The ceremony was part of the inauguration of the new museum, and was attended by 35 world leaders and dignitaries. The Hall of Names contains some 600 individual photographs of victims that spiral upwards in a cone shape. AFP PHOTO/POOL/JIM HOLLANDER
