US-INTERNATIONAL HOME AND HOUSEWARES SHOW-AIRIDER
Phil Wright, vice president of Glasgow-based Airider Systems North America holds the new "Airider" vacuum cleaner that uses hovercraft technology to float one eighth of an inch (3mm) off the floor 20 March 2005 at the International Home and Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago. The show has 2,000 exhibitors with one-third coming from 34 countries outside the US. Several international companies will exhibit in 27 organized pavilions from Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Ghana, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
