Prince Rainier of Monaco, who has been in hospital since March 7 with a lung ailment, has taken a turn for the worse, a source close to his family told AFP 22 March 2005. The reported deterioration in the 81-year-old-s state of health could not be confirmed officially by palace spokesmen.
