A picture taken 08 March 2003 shows Yury Syomin, the coach of Lokomotiv Moscow soccer club speaking with journalists in Moscow. Syomin was appointed Russia-s new head coach, local media reported. Syomin replaced Georgy Yartsev, who stepped down earlier this month after his squad failed to beat Estonia in the 2006 World Cup qualifier, recording a 1-1 draw, that reduced Russia-s chances to win their place in the finals. The 57-year-old Syomin, who won two domestic titles (2002, 2004) with Lokomotiv, would manage the Russian squad until the end of the 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign. AFP PHOTO / DENIS SINYAKOV
