BRITAIN-POLICE-SHOOTING
Police Superintendent Paul Kennedy gives a press conference 19 April 2005 about the 18 April 2005 shooting at the Fleece Inn in the West Yorkshire town of Ripponden during which a policeman and police woman were shot and injured as they tried to arrest a man in a pub. The 28-year-old man was later found in a car in Halifax with a gunshot wound to the head and police were questioning him in connection with the murder of a Halifax resident Zubair Munir.
