Japanese optical giant Minolta unveils a prototype of glasses shaped with a full-color holographic display, called "Holographic See-through Display", at the WPC Expo, Asia's largest PC trade show, in Makuhari, suburban Tokyo, 17 September 2003. The device, weighing only 27g, enables a user to see a full-color QVGA (320 x 240) image from a distance of 50cm though the glasses
