SWEDEN-TELIASONERA-IGEL
Nordic TeliaSonera Corp. CEO and chairman Anders Igel told about the 2.35 percent drop in the first-quarter profits blamed mainly on a decline in Finnish operations, at a press meeting held in Stockholm, 26 April 2005. The Swedish-Finnish telecommications operator, TeliSonera is the result of the merger in 2002 of semi-public operators Telia of Sweden and Sonera of Finland.
