The US space shuttle Discovery crewmember Japanese Mission Specialist Soichi Noguchi waves 04 May, 2005, upon returning to the Operations and Checkout Building at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The STS-114 crew Noguchi, US Commander Eileen Collins, US Andrew Thomas, US Wendy Lawrence, US Sephen Robinson, US Charles Camarda and US Pilot James Kelly participated in a Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test at launch pad 39-B in preparation for space shuttle-s expected July 2005 launch.
