CANADA-POLITICS-MARTIN
Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin departs the House of Commons following a confidence vote 19 May 2005 in Ottawa. Martin survived an attempt by the opposition to bring down his government after the budget passed in parliament, avoiding a national election.
