Filipino soldiers convicted of joining a failed rebellion against President Gloria Arroyo take an oath during a ceremony at the military headquarters in Manila, 23 May 2005. One-hundred-and-eighty-one enlisted personnel who joined a short-lived mutiny against Arroyo in 2003 were reinstated 23 May, vowing to strictly follow the military chain-of-command starting with the president.
