US-IRAQ-CHILDREN-DRAWING 1
This drawing by 11 year-old Saad Sabeeh, an Iraqi school child, is part of a exhibit by children from the Al-Assail Primary School in Baghdad, Iraq called "Shocked and Awed", being diplayed at The Puffin Room in New York 20 September through 27 November. The paintings were done in June 2003, a month after the U.S. and British invasion of Iraq. Supplied with pens, crayons, pencils and paper from New York City, the children brought their experience of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" to life. AFP PHOTO/HO
