SWEDEN-NATIONAL DAY
Swedes enjoy the day in a Stockholm park as the National Day is celebrated for the first time as a national holiday 06 June 2005. June 6 marks Gustav Vasa-s 1523 accession to the throne, which ended the Danish rule, and the 1809 adoption of a new constitution, kicking off Sweden-s democratic tradition.
