SWEDEN-NATIONAL DAY-ROYALS
Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Lilian are pictured in the Skansen open-air museum in Stockholm, 06 June 2005, when the National Day for the first time is celebrated as a national holiday in Sweden. Today marks a celebration of Gustav Vasa-s 1523 accession to the throne, which ended Danish rule, and the 1809 adoption of a new constitution, kicking off Sweden-s democratic tradition. The Swedish flag is the second oldest in the world after the Danish Dannebrogen, dating back to around 1400. AFP PHOTO - SVEN NACKSTRAND
