A picture taken 10 June 2005 in Helsinki of Eero Heinaluoma, a longtime party member and general secretary of the SDP since 2002 after he was elected party chairman of Finland-s Social Democratic Party with 201 votes, more than half the votes cast at a party conference in central Finland, Jyvaskyla. After the election Eero Heinalouma held a speech at the party conference. Finland-s Social Democratic Party on Friday June 10, 2005 elected a largely unknown political figure to replace its outgoing veteran leader, former Prime Minister Paavo Lipponen.
