URUGUAY-GELMAN-HOMAGE
Uruguayan Maria Macarena Gelman Garcia(R), grandaughter of Argentine poet Juan Gelman is seen next to her lawyer Jose Gonzalez 14 June 2005, while attending at the Congress a homage to her mother, Argentina-s Maria Claudia Garcia Irureta Goyena de Gelman, assasinated in Montevideo in 1976. GarcAa and her husband Marcelo Gelman were kidnapped in Buenos Aires in 1976 when she was pregnant. Gelman went missing and Maria Claudia Garcia was brought to this country by Uruguayan militaries and went missing too after giving birth to Maria Macarena.
