UK-SEX PISTOLS

(FILES) Picture dated 18 March 1996 of the four surviving members of the infamous group the Sex Pistols, Paul Cook (L) John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten (2nd L), Steve Jones (2nd R) and Glen Matlock (R) at the historic 100 club in London. Sex Pistols singer Lydon has been voted 17 June 2005 the "most punk" star ever in a poll which illustrates the broad nature of the term by also including the likes of Cuban revolutionary hero Che Guevara and footballer Eric Cantona. The poll of listeners to Britain-s Radio 1, the BBC-s pop and rock station, was commissioned to mark the 30th anniversary of the first concert by the Sex Pistols, the band credited with launching the punk revolution.
