PHILIPPINES-RELIGION-SIN-OBIT
Roman Catholic nuns pay their last respects to Cardinal Jaime Sin, the influential and de facto leader of the Philippines- Roman Catholic who died on June 21 after a long battle with kidney problems and diabetes, 22 June 2005 at the Manila cathedral. Sin helped topple two corrupt presidencies and his death has been mourned even by the Vatican. The government has declared a national week of mourning until Sin-s remains are laid to rest.
