BULGARIA-VOTE
An elderly woman hugs Bulgarian Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg after his vote in the town of Banja, some 140 km east from the capital Sofia, 26 October, 2003. Bulgarians voted in municipal elections Sunday with polls predicting a win by the country's former communists on the back of dissatisfaction with the centre-right government of Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg. The elections pose a tough mid-term test for Saxe-Coburg, Bulgaria's former child king who returned from 55 years in exile in 2001 to run the country as a commoner. AFP PHOTO DIMITAR DILKOFF
