US actor Michael Pitt poses 06 July 2005 in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), western Bohemia. Pitt (24) joined US actor-director Robert Redford, US actress Sharon Stone and Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann as star attraction at the 40th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Pitt studied for a while at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was part of the cast as Henry in "Dawson-s Creek" after someone from the series saw him in the play, "The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek" at New York Theatre Workshop. Pitt also starred in Bernardo Bertolucci-s lush coming-of-age drama "The Dreamers" and Gus Van Sant-s "Last Days". AFP PHOTO/MICHAL CIZEK
