RUGBYU-SAFRICA-MANDELA-CHALLENGE
Former South African President Nelson Mandela (R) welcomes 46664 ambassador Lucas Radebe (2-R) as former Springbok captain Francois Pienaar (L) carries the 46664 relay torch ahead of the final match of the Mandela Challenge Plate at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, 23 July 2005. The torch was lit in Mandela-s cell where he was imprisoned on Robben Island at one minute past midnight on 18 July, Mandela-s 87th birthday.
