Former Dutch prime minister Ruud Lubbers told Dutch public radio 09 August 2005, that at the request of the CIA, the Netherlands let go the father of Pakistan-s nuclear program Abdul Qadeer Khan who worked in the country between 1975 and 1986. Khan, who admitted in 2004 that he had leaked nuclear secrets to Iran, North Korea and Libya, worked as an engineer in the Netherlands at Urenco, an uranium enrichment plant.
