EL SALVADOR-IRAQ-TROOPS
Salvadorean soldiers of the Cuscatlan Batallion board a plane at the Comalapa Air Force Military Base 11 August 2005 in Comalapa, El Salvador, some 50 kilometers south from the capital. A fifth contingent of 380 soldiers has been deployed to Iraq to relieve a previous group stationed 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad. El Salvador is the only Latin American country with troops still in Iraq.
