The IAAF will investigate a report that Czech decathlonists Roman Sebrle and Tomas Dvorak received an intravenous infusion from the Czech medical team during Wednesday-s decathlon final. An IAAF statement 12 August said the world governing body had received information from Finnish officials that silver medalist Sebrle and eighth-placed Dvorak had received an infusion immediately prior to the start of the 1500 metres, the final discipline in the two-day event.
