The leaders of the US Congress late 07 September announced the formation of a committee to review the relief response to Hurricane Katrina.Dennis Hastert and Bill Frist, made the announcement in a joint statement. Both men are members of President George W. Bush-s Republican Party.The bipartisan, joint committee, made up of senior legislators, "will be tasked with reviewing, at all levels of government, the immediate preparation and recovery from Hurricane Katrina," read the statement.
