FILES-SPAIN-TAYSIR ALLUNI
(FILES) -- A file photo dated 2003 shows Tayssir Alluni, a high-profile reporter for the Arabic satellite news channel Al-Jazeera, during summer courses at the Escorial. Alluni who had been under house arrest in Spain for his alleged membership of Al-Qaeda, was taken into custody 16 September 2005, a judicial official said. The wife of the Spaniard of Syrian origin also confirmed to AFP his arrest. A court on September 26 is due to hand down a verdict in the trial of Alluni, one of 41 people charged by Spanish judge Baltasar Garzon with links to or membership of Al-Qaeda.
