MIDEAST-PALESTINIAN-ISRAEL-GAZA-FUNERAL
Relatives mourn at the al-Awdah mosque over the body of seven-year-old Palestinian girl Salma Fayad, killed yesterday in the mysterious blast at a Hamas military parade in the Jabalya refugee camp prior to her funeral procession in the camp, 24 September 2005. Thousands of supporters of Hamas and the main governing faction Fatah turned out for the joint funeral for nine of the 15 people killed, as Hamas accused Israel of causing the explosion, while the Palestinian Authority held Hamas responsible for the blast.
