SURFING-ASP-PRO FRANCE 2005-SLATER
Six times ASP World Champion US Kelly Slater (Cocoa Beach, Florida, USA) surfs to defeat wildcard and 2005 European surfing champion Jeremy Flores (Reu), ensuring he is still in the running for a seventh world title at the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Men’s World Tour Pro France in Hossegor, southwestern France, 28 September 2005. Slater responded to Flore’s 9.17 out of 10.00 point opening ride, with a 9.77 which he backed up by another solid score, to earn himself a place in the next round.
