2004 Quiksilver Pro France runner up, Hawaiian Bruce Irons (Kauai) surfs during the Fosters Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Men’s World Tour -- Quiksilver Pro France -- in Hossegor, southwestern France, 29 September 2005. Irons is a serious threat for the front runners at the Quiksilver Pro France this year, posting the highest heat score of the entire contest an 18.26 out of a possible 20.00 for some deep tube riding and high aerials at La Nord, Hossegor. Irons locked in an 8.83 on his second ride which he followed up with a 9.43, both out of a possible 10.00 to defeat Brazilian Raoni Monterio. The Quiksilver Pro France is the ninth of 11 events on the 2005 Fosters Men’s ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) and features the top 45 surfers in world and three wild card surfers.
