SURFING-ASP-QUICKSILVER-BURROW
Australia-s Taj Burrow (Yallingup, Western Australia) surfs during the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Men’s World Tour -- Quiksilver Pro France -- 30 September 2005 in Hossegor, southwestern France. After posting a decisive victory over fellow compatriot Nathan Hedge in the quarterfinals, world number six, Burrow (Yallingup, Western Australia) was defeated by Quiksilver Pro France defending Champion Andy Irons (Haw) in the semi finals of the Quiksilver Pro France. Burrow placed equal third and was the highest placed Australian at this event, earning US$ 10 000. The Quiksilver Pro France is the ninth of 11 events on the 2005 Fosters Men’s ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) and features the top 45 surfers in world and three wild card surfers.
