Felix Dagregorio, a striking worker of the troubled National Corsica Mediterranean Company (SNCM) is taken for a hearing 30 September 2005 at Marseille-s court. Felix Dagregorio and Alain Mosconi have been held in custody, two of the four leaders of the pro-nationalist Union of Corsican Workers (STC) arrested 28 September after hijacking a ship belonging to the troubled National Corsica Mediterranean Company (SNCM). The French island of Corsica was threatened with a total blockade Friday as a bitter dispute over privatisation of a state-owned ferry company led to the closure of its main seaports and strikes by airport staff.
