MACEDONIA-MILITAY GRADUATES-PROTEST
Graduates from the Macedonian military academy protest in front of the Government building in the capital Skopje, on 06 October 2005, after the government-s decision against hiring them in the army corps. Macedonia reforms it-s ill-equipped communist era army in a bid to join NATO and has decided to slash the number of army officers and clerks in the Ministry of defense, while the recruits are given an option between army and community service.AFP PHOTO ROBERT ATANASOVSKI
