FRANCE-MEDIA-BAYEUX
This picture taken by French photographer Roger Lemoyne from Magazine/Redux Pictures/Alexia Foundation was awarded 08 October 2005, the 12th annual Bayeux -people-s choice- Prize for war reporting. The picture taken in August 2003, as part of a report entitled "Gold, arms and microbes : the war in the east of Congo", shows a 12-year-old boy at left, with an adolescent and young man from the same Lendu militia unit, all bearing arms, on the road between Bunia and Marabou where killings occurred regularly of the Lendu militia in Bunia area.
