FRANCE-TRANSPORT-SOCIAL-CORSICA
Workers at the state-owned ferry operator the National Corsica Mediterranean Company (SNCM) vote unanimously to continue a 22-day strike during a general assembly on board of Mediterranee ferry, 11 October 2005 in Marseille, southern France. The General Labour Confederation (CGT) which has led the strike since September 20, continues to demand a majority state share-holding after the sell-off.
