Iraqi soldiers secure the area where a car bomb exploded in Baghdad, 18 October 2005. Three people were wounded in the explosion. Saddam Hussein-s ousted Baath party called for its supporters in Iraq to step up attacks on US and Iraqi forces to mark the start of his trial 19 October 2005 according to an Internet statement.
