Libyan political opponent Omar Ali Abou Bakr holds a Koran while posing on the tree he has been living on for the past ten months located between the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the US embassy in the residential area of Rabat, Morocco, 17 October 2005. After spending five years in prison following the explosiong of a meeting room in Ras Lanouf, some 600 kms east of Tripoli, Bakr ran away to Morocco where he squats two trees while awaiting to be granted asylum to America.
