ROMANIA-HEALTH- FLU
Veterinary doctors check the ID number of a healthy chicken before it is given to local people from Ceamurlia de Jos village (300km northeast from Bucharest), 29 October 2005. Some 140 chickens, so-called "sentinel birds" were given today to the inhabitants where the virus H5N1 was found in their domestic birds, in order to be observed by the vets and to find out if there is still the bird flu virus.
