SURFING-ASP-WORLD TOUR-WARD-STEDMAN
US Chris Ward (L) and Australia-s Luke Stedman celebrate their victory in the Expression Session during the Men’s ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) on Joaquina Beach, Brazil, 02 November 2005. In the one-hour format where surfers are encouraged to push the limits and attempt futuristic manoeuvres in the hunt for cash prizes, Ward took the biggest â€oairâ€? with a huge and very difficult frontside aerial with a no-handed rotation. Stedman claimed the best wave with a longer ride where he pulled off two very powerful backside gouges.
