SPAIN-BASQUE-OTEGI-EGIBAR
Leader of pro-independence banned Basque party Batasuna, Arnaldo Otegi (L) and ruling Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) spokesman at the Basque Parliament Joseba Egibar (R) chat prior to a meeting organized by the 18/98+ platform in the northern Spanish Basque town of Durango, 12 November 2005. The meeting is part of the "Kaiera" campaign to protest against a trial accusing 59 Basque citizens, representing a wide range of social and political entities to be held on 21 November 2005 in Madrid.
