NAMIBIA-ANGOLA-CHIEF-WOMAN
A group of Oukwanyama tribe women sing praise songs for Martha ya Nlumbo, the new Oukwanyama Queen, in northern Namibia at the newly constructed royal palace during her swearing in ceremony as first female chief of the Namibia-s Oukwanyama tribe, in Omhedi, near Oshikango close to the Angolan border, some 760 kilometres north of Windhoek, 12 November 2005. Some 8000 members of Namibia-s Oukwanyama tribe joined their country leaders today to witness the first ever inauguration of a female chief of their people.
