TAIWAN-HEALTH-FLU-WATERBIRDS
Photo taken 25 November 2005 shows an egret perched atop a wooden pole erected in Sihcao, a wildlife reserve at Taiwan-s southern Tainan city. More than a million birds live in Sihcao every year, including over 20 endangered species of migratory birds from other parts of Asia and Australia and over half of the 400 species or so native wild birds.
