FRANCE-PARTY-UMP-JUSTICE-JUPPE
(FILES) - A file photo taken 13 July 2004 in Bordeaux, south western France, shows former French prime minister Alain Juppe, then deputy-mayor of the city and UMP president. Valerie Pecresse, UMP spokesperson, announced that she hoped 04 December 2005 the former Prime Minister, again eligible from 05 December, will "re-enter the French political scene". Juppe, was sentenced to 14-month suspended jail term and a year-s disqualification from elected office for his role in the secret financing of President Jacques Chirac-s RPR party in the early 1990s.
